Savory, buttery, salty, sweet, kick of cinnamon. You can eat 1/4 lb. of them for 130 Calories or go all out on 1/2 lb. for 260. Imagine not feeling full after downing that many carrots! One of my favorite go to recipes for feeling full when I have a sweet or savory craving.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. baby carrots
1/4 cup melted butter
cinnamon (1 teaspoon or as much as you like!)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup honey
3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions: Shove it all in a slow cooker, toss to mix, and heat for 3-4 hours high, 6-8 hours low. That's pretty much it. Enjoy or refrigerate to heat up again later. If you prefer to, save the honey vanilla and cinnamon to put on at the end of cooking for a stronger flavor.
